The Prosecco Superiore territory is a natural amphitheater in the heart of Veneto located north of the province of Treviso between the productive capitals of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene.
The climate is favored by the position equidistant from the Dolomites and the Adriatic, which helps winters that are not too cold, temperate summers and accentuated rainfall in autumn and spring.

The surprising and enchanting landscape alternates steep slopes and soft coasts on which weaving of vineyards stand out, silent witnesses of man’s constancy. It is a land with rich and mine-
ral soil but difficult for cultivation, where talent, commitment and non-stop passion are needed.

The vines are grown in the sunniest part of the hills, at an altitude between 50 and 500 meters above sea level, while the north side is mostly covered with woods.

In these places the land rightly represents its people, being difficult to conquer but generous in the soul!

Our Vineyards.
In our completely hilly soils the real challenge is consumed.
The morphology of the soil, characterized by steep terraces, imposes a work performed almost entirely by hand, which is defined as "heroic cultivation" because taking care of these lands requires strong dedication and a certain degree of madness.
Our plots are located in Valdobbiadene, Farra di Soligo, Tarzo, Refrontolo and Susegana.

Vineyards in the steepest and most challenging hills are referred to by the local term "Rive," and each Rive is given a name, sometimes fancy, that identifies it.

We work, for example, on Riva Garboi, Riva Petola, Riva Muliana and many others.

Our vineyards are trained with Sylvoz and Double Capovolto methods with a density per hectare of 3,300 and 3,500 vines, which results in a lower unit production per vine but a higher quality of the grapes obtained.

In our 20 hectares, all in the hills, the morphology of the soil dictates almost entirely hand tillage.
It is called "heroic cultivation" because it requires strong dedication and a bit of madness!

Our most important grape variety is Glera, the basic component of Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore as it must make up at least 85 percent of the grapes used.

Glera is a rustic and vigorous vine due to repeated rainfall and temperature excursions during the ripening phase, has hazelnut-colored shoots and produces large, long clusters with golden yellow berries.
